Nefes Outdoor was founded by a team with more than 25 years of experience in Turkey’s outdoor industry, driven by a simple wish: to do what we know best, and to do it right. Over the years we have worked at every stage of this business, from distribution and retail to store operations and e-commerce. We know the journey a product takes from the production line to an adventurer’s backpack, and we know how much trust matters at every step along the way.
What We Believe In
Honesty is at the heart of everything we do. Keeping our word, never pretending to know what we don’t, and being open with our partners in every situation is not just a principle for us. It is a habit. Our relationships with retailers across Turkey have been shaped by this approach over many years, and the trust built on those relationships is what defines us today.
Turkey’s outdoor culture is one of a kind. It lives on highland plateau trails, in the mist of the Kaçkar Mountains, on the rocky ridges of the Taurus range, along the paths of the Lycian Way, and around the campfire. We know the nature and the people of this land. We believe that everyone who heads outdoors, whether for their first summit or their hundredth, deserves gear they can rely on.
Why These Brands?
We did not choose the brands we represent by chance. Each one has deep roots in its field, a clear identity, and a genuine connection with nature.
La Sportiva is a family company that has been making its products in Val di Fiemme, in Italy’s Dolomites, since 1928. From climbing shoes and mountain running footwear to high-altitude boots and technical gear, its products are tested in some of the most demanding conditions on earth. It is a brand born in the heart of nature.
Asolo comes from Italy’s Montebelluna region, renowned for its footwear craftsmanship, and has been making trekking and hiking boots since 1975. Combining craftsmanship, comfort and durability, Asolo is a companion that brings confidence to every step on the long trail.
Rab was born in 1981 in Sheffield, England, when a mountaineer started sewing his own sleeping bags. Today, with a collection ranging from down jackets to technical mountain apparel, Rab remains a brand shaped by the real needs of real mountaineers.
What unites these three brands is simple: each was founded by people who live for the outdoors, for people who live for the outdoors. Behind their products stand decades of field experience, not marketing language. As we bring these brands to Turkey, we see it as our duty to preserve that same authenticity.
Where We Are Headed
Our goal is to take the brands we represent to the place they deserve in Turkey. We want to grow together with our retail partners and bring the right product, with the right knowledge, to everyone who sets out into nature. In the coming period, we aim to carefully expand our portfolio by welcoming new brands that share the same values.
